Bougainvillea ’Ada’s Joy’

Bougainvillea ‘Ada's Joy'

A long flowering bougainvillea with the loveliest light pink calyces which look great in pots and in the garden. They need a sunny position and well drained soil. As the case is with all bougainvilleas too much water will not be good for them and they are likely to have too many leaves and no flowers if overwatered. Pots, however do need more watering that the ones in the garden. They can be cut back, pruned and shaped and generally abused, but try not to abuse their roots when planting.

I have Ada‘s Joy in a pot and it has a branch that has got red flowers. I dont want it to change colour as I love the pale pink. What must I do to keep it pink. Thanks Margaret
