An eco-friendly shredder for autumn clean-up
The latest low-noise VIKING GE 135 L and 140 L electric shredders offer an eco-friendly and efficient way to dispose of garden waste quickly and quietly. Both models feature innovative blade roller technology that crushes rather than cuts up organic matter, disposing of branches, hedge trimmings and stems up to 35mm and 40mm in diameter respectively. This crushing method has two benefits: it results in far less noise, and the process enables microorganisms to break down the organic matter much faster for the production of compost, so your garden waste is put to good use. The crushed matter is collected in the integrated 60-litre transparent shredder box to be neatly moved to the compost heap. For safety reasons, the machines only work when the collection container is locked securely in place.
With their compact and ergonomic design, smooth operation and low noise delivery, both the GE 135 L and 140 L are ideal for use in suburban gardens and office parks. Both models have low kickback and are less likely to block up during operation. Plant material is automatically drawn into the feed chute, and thanks to the cloverleaf opening specially developed by VIKING, even branches with side shoots and twigs feed safely into the shredder. If branches enter cross-wise and block the roller, there is a reverse gear that the intelligent electronic control module of the GE 140 L model engages automatically. The roller slowly pushes the material
back in the opposite direction, freeing it. The reversal feature attempts to remove the blockage three times before switching off the machine if the blockage cannot be
removed in this way.
For added convenience, both models have easy-running wheels that ensure 100% mobility so you can move these shredders to wherever you need to work. In the GE 140 L, the attachment with feed chute and motor unit can be lowered into the transparent container for space-saving storage once your clearing up tasks are done.
