
Green Goddess Sauce



This sauce can be made using many different herbs, so use what you have. These are just guidelines.
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream (or use natural yoghurt)
- Zest from 1 lemon and 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup fresh parsley
- 3/4 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup fresh chives
- 1 cup mixed soft leafy herbs like dill, mint, tarragon or coriander or a combination of these.
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon salt (adjust to your taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper Optional
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 2 anchovies
Mix all the leaves in a food processor and then add the other ingredients to blend well. Check the seasoning and adjust if needed. Serve or refrigerate until ready to use.
