84 Long Street
This garden has an ‘English feel’, although a lot of indigenous plants have been used. Beds have been planted for constant colour, bringing charm and variation. The conservatory and fishpond add an extra dimension of tranquillity.
94 Long Street
A beautiful house, for which the garden is a serene setting. Established trees, veranda pots and a rose enclosure lend a European feel. (Open on Sunday only.)
97 Long Street
Wander this mainly indigenous garden featuring unusual medicinal plants. Shaman Robert Yule conducts guided tours twice daily.
101 Long Street
Vivien Claire and Tony and Jenny Stipcich
Start at the indigenous courtyard of The Stips. Wander to the newly planted garden of Angel View and pause at a flower meadow near the angel sculpture, a symbol of hope for parents who have lost a child. Follow the path to Vivien’s ‘Tree of Life’ with its sacred geometry. Loop through the blomhuis, before reaching Tony’s kitchen herb garden.
