Avondale Wine Estate

Spring comes to life at Avondale Wine Estate with a weekend dedicated to colour, nature, sustainability and community. Set among the rolling landscapes of Paarl, the estate invites visitors to explore seven distinctive gardens, each offering its own character, design and connection to the land. It is a celebration of the season and a chance to experience Avondale’s thoughtful approach to farming, conservation and good living.

Step into a weekend of colour, calm, and a celebration of spring, sustainability, and community. Wander through our working wine estate as the gardens burst into bloom, and experience the harmony of nature, people, and good living. Discover seven spectacular gardens across Avondale, each with its own story and style. 

Directions: From Cape Town, take the N1 north towards Paarl. Slip off the N1 at Exit 59 (Jan van Riebeeck). At the T-junction, turn right towards Franschhoek. At the 2nd set of robots turn left into Lustigan Road (at Engen Garage) and then right into the estate after 1.3 km.
