For one weekend in November, Barrydale opens its gates, studios and gathering spaces for a celebration of gardens, creativity and local life. Wander through the village at your own pace, meet the people behind its gardens and studios, and enjoy a programme that brings together nature, art, sustainability and community.

Whether you are visiting for garden inspiration, local art, thoughtful conversations or simply a relaxed day out in Barrydale, there is plenty to experience along the way.

Barrydale in Bloom celebrates more than a decade of community, gardening and the beautification of shared spaces. This annual event features more than 20 Open Gardens, Artist Studios, eco-focused talks and a market showcasing local products. Visitors can explore a diverse range of gardens, from traditional ornamental designs to natural, wildlife-friendly landscapes, where sustainable gardening practices support thriving ecosystems and local biodiversity.
