Harcourts Open Midlands Gardens 2022 – Dargle

We are delighted to invite you to a new season of Harcourts Open Midlands Gardens – this year entitled Town and Country as the gardens can be found in Pietermaritzburg, Hilton, Howick and as far as Balgowan, Kamberg, Karkloof and Curry’s Post, Lidgetton and three lovely gardens in the Richmond area.

Millford Farm

Saturday 29 – Sunday 30 October

A large rectangular lawn provides a vantage point to gaze through the architectural formality of terraces onto the beautiful Dargle Valley. Planted with many traditional English flowers that frame the view and seamlessly melt into the indigenous bush below. Over the last 5 years the garden has changed, creating new spaces and reinventing some of the old spaces.

Directions: Before Piggly Wiggly, turn left onto the Dargle/ Impendle Road and follow for 14.2km. Turn right onto the D666 (dirt road). Follow for about 4km (sign posted). Turn right at the large stone gates.
