George Open Gardens 2026

Since 2010, the annual BADISA Open Gardens event has raised vital funds while celebrating the beauty and variety of local gardens. This year’s event aims to feature 10 gardens, including five new additions and five returning favourites. Visitors can explore everything from compact retirement and townhouse gardens to food plots, bonsai spaces, plant collections and larger landscaped gardens.

At 10:00, Schantel van der Merwe from Vanderfax Flower Farm will present a talk on regenerative gardening practices at 36 Stander Street.
