In 2022, Vanderfax expanded its operations and relocated to the picturesque Garden Route city of George. Surrounded by the majestic Outeniqua Mountains, the Maalgate River and sweeping countryside, the farm offers an inspiring setting where nature and sustainable farming go hand in hand.

Run by the Van der Merwe family, Vanderfax produces sustainably grown seasonal cut flowers, edible flowers, herbs and pasture-fed free-range eggs, all supplied to the local community. Committed to regenerative and organic farming practices, the farm works in harmony with nature by integrating Boschvelder chickens and Indian Runner ducks into its growing systems, allowing them to manage pests naturally while supporting a healthy, balanced ecosystem.
