FLITWICK RANCH

Katie du Plessis

The old farm homestead, built in the 1800s, is surrounded by a well-established garden that blends gently into the surrounding farmland. The old buildings, such as the Cheese Factory and stables, have been renovated into luxury accommodation. The old cattle kraals have been turned into a deli and are situated next to a dam. The picturesque combination of roses, nandinas, petunias, and geraniums, to name but a few, make a colourful array.

YONAROO

Lynn Walker
.

Lynn took over her daughter-in-law’s garden less than three years ago with well-established hedges and roses and, in a short time, has given it her signature structure and beauty. Parts of the garden were redesigned for ease of maintenance as she spends a good time away. The garden provides the space to relax and enjoy the peaceful place with elegant colour coordination and a pocket filled with happy, delightful flowers. There is also a rustic cricket pitch for seven energetic grandchildren.
