Hackland Aloe Garden 2025

Come and enjoy relaxing in the beautiful Hackland Aloe Garden and all that is on offer. Walk through this large garden to see a variety of aloes in flower as well as a number of different birds and bees. It also has panoramic views over cane fields & the distant hills. It is a great spot for photographers!
There will be crafts, home made cakes, bottled jams and chutney as well as food, refreshments and coffee for sale. Choose one of the 12 picnic spots in the garden to sit, relax and enjoy your coffee amongst the stunning aloes. All proceeds from the crafts and cakes sold will go to support the PMB homeless.Â
Pietermaritzburg Orchid society will have an amazing orchid display including orchids for sale. The Sunbird Hybrid aloes will also available from grower Ruthe Gray of Ndundulu Aloes from Eshowe. Hackland Aloe Garden indigenous aloe nursery will also be selling aloes.
Times: 9:00 – 16:00
Location: Hackland Aloe Garden is situated in Bishopstowe just outside Pietermarizburg.
Tickets: R30 entry. Children under 12 are free.
