OTTERBURN FARM
.

Guy and Terri Taylor
.

This garden is a children’s delight. An old, well-established garden where three generations of children have climbed trees, explored secret paths, made fairy gardens in the forest and had tea parties in the dolls’ house. The garden was established 70 years ago, and the expansive lawn area is beautifully framed by large trees and flower beds. A new vegetable tunnel has been erected on the old tennis court, and the farm lifestyle and family history have been incorporated throughout the garden. This garden reflects generations of farming family life. There are many varieties of hydrangeas and azaleas which form the backdrop to this country-style garden. The garden has significant shaded and sunlit areas, which can be explored on numerous pathways winding through the garden.
.

Directions: From Underberg, head towards Bulwer on the R617 for approximately 18 km. At 2nd Coleford Road (tar), turn right. Continue along the Coleford Road for approximately 11 km. Turn left onto the D200. Drive 1 km and turn right onto Otterburn Farm. Drive approximately 2.5 km, past the dairy.
