Kuhestan Organic Farm Gardens

Nestled against the renowned Woodbush indigenous forest, with the Helpmakaar stream flowing at the foot of the farm, Kuhestan Organic Farm Gardens has been carefully developed by Shahrzad and Brett Hone over more than 25 years. Open throughout the year, the gardens offer visitors a changing display of seasonal colour, from azaleas, clivias and cherry blossoms in spring to hydrangeas, fuchsias and annuals in summer, followed by the striking autumn tones of Japanese and Chinese maples.

Visitors can enjoy year-round seasonal beauty, from colourful spring blossoms and vibrant summer flowers to the warm autumn shades of Japanese and Chinese maples.

Directions: Proceed straight at the stop sign at Haenertsburg towards the Magoebaskloof Hotel (10 km). Travel 2.5 km and after the hotel, turn left into Houtbosdorp. Travel 2  km along the Hourbosdorp Road to Kuhestan Organic Farm Gardens.
