Salem Biblical Garden and Archaeology Museum 2022
All Year Round
Established in 2011 on a farm on the slopes of the Paarl, the area has natural fynbos, 300-hundred-year-old wild olive trees and granite rocks, and is said to closely resemble parts of Israel. A 400m path has been cut along the mountain where several artefacts and depictions of Bible patriarchs have been built.
- Directions: From Cape Town, take the N1 towards Paarl, turn left onto the R44. At Windmeul turn right onto the Noord After Paarl Road. At the end of the little Windmeul town, turn right onto a gravel road – Rheebokskloof Road. 200m down that road, on the left, is the gate of Salem Biblical Garden.
