Agapanthus africanus ‘Peter Pan’
Dwarf African Lily, Dwarf Lily of the Nile, Dwarf Peter Pan Lily
With all the new varieties of agapanthus that keep becoming available in nurseries, an agapanthus-lover can never get bored, especially with a hybrid like the Agapanthus Africanus Peter Pan.
Sometimes, however, it is the trusty old favourites amongst these indigenous perennials that we still love the most. The rest of us were awestruck by the masses of sky blue flowers produced by the swathes of Agapanthus Africanus ‘Peter Pan’ in Tanya’s garden. (We were also green with envy.) The plant reaches a size of 50 cm x 40 cm, while the flowers are held on slender stems that reach way above this.
