Tree Wisteria

tree wisteria

The Tree Wisteria is a truly elegant deciduous tree with a neat, elongated silhouette in the landscape. It is multi-stemmed with thick outer branches. The bark is rough and fissured and the main trunk has great character when the tree reaches maturity.

Cultivation: Plant it in a sunny spot, in well-draining soil. Moderately water wise, it grows quite slowly.

Key attraction: Large bunches of showy, wisteria-like, purple flowers appear in spring and early summer.

•Height and width: approximately 7m x 6m
•Form: rounded crown with sparse foliage
