Rhamnus prinoides

Dogwood or Blinkblaar

Rhamnus prinoides are bushy with shiny dark green foliage. Its small greenish, insect-attracting flowers are followed by fleshy pea-sized fruits that turn purple when they are ripe.

It’s an easy grower that would make a lovely low hedge around an elegant focal point like a fountain. Adult size: 4 x 4m.
