Lysimachia nummularia is a low ground hugging cover that has soft stems that root as they spread. Its rounded, golden-yellow leaves form a spectacular, usually contrasting carpet in sun or light shade. It grows well from the coast to the cold hinterland. It is attractive in flowerbeds and shrub borders.
