Verbena peruviana

Originating from South America, Verbena Peruviana is an evergreen perennial that flowers prolifically from spring to autumn. The masses of flowers provide a garden with a beautiful scarlet carpet of colour. All it takes to prolong the flowering period, is the time to deadhead the spent flowers.

Verbena Peruviana ground hugging and creeping nature makes it ideal for use as a ground cover or even in a rockery. Its hardy nature allows for a happy home in full sun, but it does equally well when contained within a hanging basket. Regular watering during dry spells coupled with compost-enriched soil will ensure a beautiful display year after year.
