For the Cats – a DIY Scratching Post

Materials
3 pine planks: 150mm wide
x 18mm thick (see above for length)
6 screws (30 x 4mm)
2 carpet tiles (490 x 490mm)
wood glue and contact adhesive

Cut the wood panels as per the diagram and screw together, using the photos as a guide. Cut carpet tiles to size and use contact adhesive to glue them to the planks. Make or buy some catnip-filled toys and use them to entice your cat to explore the scratcher.
