Sansevieria trifasciata is a tough, hardy and enduring succulent from Africa is making a strong fashion statement in the modern garden. The upright, fleshy, lance-shaped leaves stand tall and proud in pots and containers both indoors and out in bright sunlight or deep shade, such is the adaptability of this wonderful Sansevieria trifasciata plant.

Leaves are green with horizontal bands of conspicuous grey marbling along the length. A variegated leaf form with a yellow margin is sold under the name of Sanseviera Trifasciata ‘Laurentii’. Perfect for most pots and containers – large or small, short or tall – you will never go wrong with a Mother-in-Law’s Tongue!
