Save water with green cubes

Step 1: Fill the bottom of a pot with pebbles for good drainage.

Step 2: Mix potting soil with the green cubes (from 1:5 up to 1:1 ratio – ratio required is dependent on how much water you want to save and what water challenges your area faces), and fill the pot half way up with the mixture.

Step 3: Remove your plant (we chose a Fuchsia) from its plastic
container and place in your pot.

Step 4: Add the rest of the mixture.

Step 5: Add mulch, as this allows for further water saving by
retaining moisture. We used pebbles, but you can also use bark chips.

Step 6: Water your newly potted plant and watch it thrive!
