1.To build the bench, assemble the frame as seen in the diagram (above) using the 50 mm pine planks and the 90 mm cut screws.
2.Once the frame is complete, sand it to a nice, smooth finish.

3.Begin with the top of the bench. Place 12 of the 502 x 92 x 22 mm planks along the length of the bench, leaving equal spaces at the ends and between each plank. The ends of each plank will extend over the frame. Screw the planks into place with the 60 mm cut screws.

4.To clad the sides you will need five of the 502 x 92 x 22 mm planks per side, placed horizontally. Line the top plank up with the top of the bench, then space the planks evenly as you did in Step 3. Screw these into place with the 60 mm cut screws.

5.For the front and back of the bench use the 524 x 92 x 22 mm planks. Place them vertically, lining them up with the top planks and leaving even spaces at the ends as in Step 3. Screw the planks into place with the 60 mm screws.

6. Sand the bench and seal it with a product like Woodoc 30 Outdoor Polywax Sealer

Next, run the cord and install a switch in a hidden but accessible spot on the side of the table. Run another piece of cord from the switch, and safely and correctly wire a plug to the end.
