Fig and Honey Kebabs with Yoghurt
A delicious, sweet snack that you can try out at your next braai!
- 8 figs, halved
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- Dash of vanilla extract
- ½ cup yoghurt
- Extra honey and vanilla to taste
Thread the fig halves onto sticks. Heat together the sugar, honey, water and vanilla. Brush over the figs and braai until golden, which should take about 3 – 5 minutes. Serve with yoghurt that has been flavoured with honey and vanilla.
