Gin Marinated Steak
Great tasting, melt in your mouth party favourite. Don’t limit your use of spiced gin to botanical cocktails – add it to a marinade for steak. This marinated steak is different from your usual steak marinade but is surprisingly delicious, and you can actually taste the gin flavour subtly coming through.
Marinade:
- 1 capful spiced gin
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons onion marmalade
Mix all the ingredients together and marinate a good steak in this mixture for at least 30 minutes. Braai on a hot fire until cooked to your liking, and serve.
